LOUISVILLE (05/01/25) — Rodriguez has been scratched from Saturday’s Kentucky Derby, with owners posting on social media that the colt had a small foot bruise that needs a few days to heal. The scratch leaves trainer Bob Baffert with one entry in his return to Churchill Downs after serving a three-year suspension. Alternate Beaza moves into the field.

UNDATED (05/01/25) — UK Basketball will face St. John’s in a regular season matchup as part of the CBS Sports Classic in Atlanta on Dec. 20. The pairing will pit Wildcats coach Mark Pope against his former coach Rick Pitino. The two were part of the 1996 NCAA National Champion team.
