BOONEVILLE (07/15/23) – An Eastern Kentucky woman is facing a murder charge after she struck and killed a pedestrian Saturday night. Kentucky State Police said 26-year- old Micka McKinney of Booneville was driving west of Kentucky 30 in Owsley County when she struck 33-year-old Ethan Bolin, also of Booneville, who was walking along the highway. Bolin was pronounced dead at the scene by the county coroner. McKinney was also charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence and other traffic violations. The incident is under investigation.
