UPDATE, 10:44am CDT- Officials in Brandenburg say the entire city water system with 15-hundred customers is under a boil water advisory until further notice and requested to conserve water for essential use only. A pump failure occurred early Monday morning at the city’s water plant. When the pump was repaired a 400 gallon a minute leak was detected, later discovered Monday evening along Old Ekron Road. Water will be discolored for the time being, so please be aware of that before washing any laundry.

BRANDENBURG (06/05/23) – The City of Brandenburg is banning all non-essential water use by city water customers for the next 72 hours. A statement posted on the City’s Facebook page says a pump failure occurred at their water plant with work underway to restore service and water pressure to customers. Once service is restored, there will be a system wide boil water advisory.
