5/21/2026—The Cloverport Board of Education approved the tentative budget for the 2027 Fiscal Year at their regular meeting Thursday evening. The total budget is $29,118,055.32.
In other business, the Board approved insurance renewals for the upcoming year. Property and Liability insurance totals $292,000. Workman’s Compensation insurance is $49,463. Cyber Liability insurance is $24,006.
The Board approved the extra service salary schedule.
The contract with the Stepping Stones Group was renewed. The group provides psychological testing services for the district.
The Board approved a job description for an Assistant Principal for the Kentucky Virtual Academy. KYVA will hold a graduation ceremony for 130 graduates at the Kentucky Horse Park May 23 at 4:00pm EDT.
The Board approved a summer field trip to Mesker Park Zoo in Evansville, IN on June 12.
In personnel matters, Kason Morris has been hired as Health and PE teacher. Joshua Bostrom will serve as Assistant Archery Coach.
