
5/13/2026—The Breckinridge County Grand Jury met Tuesday, May 12 and returned ten indictments.
Barry Mattingly, 63, Hardinsburg, was indicted for 1st degree forgery.
Marvin W. Barnes, 42, Crestwood, was indicted for 1st degree possession of a controlled substance(meth), 3rd or greater offense; operating a motor vehicle under the influence of a controlled substance, 2nd offense; failure of non-owner to maintain required insurance, 2nd offense; giving officer false identifying information; operating on a suspended/revoked license; and possession of marijuana.
Travis A. Mettling, 41, Hardinsburg, was indicted on two counts of possession of a handgun by a convicted felon; 1st degree trafficking in a controlled substance(meth), 1st offense; tampering with physical evidence; 1st degree promoting contraband; possession of marijuana/enhanced; and being a 1st degree persistent felony offender.
William T. Dowell, 44, Hardinsburg, was indicted for 2nd degree assault; 1st degree unlawful imprisonment; and being a 1st degree persistent felony offender.
William T. Willock, 44, Hardinsburg, was indicted for possession of a handgun by a convicted felon; 1st degree possession of a controlled substance(meth), 1st offense/enhanced; possession of a firearm by a convicted felon; possession of marijuana/enhanced; and being a 1st degree persistent felony offender.
Kennedy E. Romines, 30, Owensboro, was indicted for tampering with physical evidence; 1st degree possession of fentanyl; and operating on a suspended/revoked license.
McClane Ward, 35, Leitchfield, was indicted for 1st degree possession of a controlled substance(meth), 1st offense/enhanced and operating a motor vehicle under the influence of a controlled substance, 1st offense.
Connie L. Fraze, 52, Louisville, was indicted for 2nd degree assault/domestic violence; 1st degree wanton endangerment; leaving the scene of an accident/failure to render aid; resisting arrest; 3rd degree escape; and operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol.
Jason O. Dowell, 41, Hardinsburg, and Carla J. Voyles, 41, Hardinsburg, were each indicted for 1st degree trafficking in a controlled substance(meth), 1st offense and 1st degree promoting contraband.
