HARDINSBURG (05/10/26) — According to the Breckinridge County Sheriff’s Office, a call was received Sunday morning about an individual who walked into a residence within the city limits of Hardinsburg. The department reported after fleeing that location after frightening the home owner, the suspect then proceeded to other residences, knocking on doors. Deputies located 56-year-old Barry James of Hardinsburg riding on a bicycle and took him into custody. He was lodged in the Breckinridge County Detention Center on a charge of criminal trespassing and prior warrant for parole violation.
