UNDATED (05/07/26) — The BCHS Fighting Tiger Baseball team dropped a 7-5 result to Owensboro Catholic on Wednesday evening. Next up is a game with Daviess County tomorrow afternoon at Tiger Field. The Lady Tiger Softball team fell to Meade County, 14-0 Wednesday in Brandenburg. They will host Ohio County at 5:30 this afternoon.
UNDATED (05/06/26) — Kentucky Derby winner Golden Tempo will not run in the Preakness Stakes next weekend. Trainer Cherie DeVaux announced the plan to skip the Preakness and set sights on the Belmont Stakes on June 6 at Saratoga Race Course in upstate New York. Golden Tempo is the third Derby winner in the past five years not to be entered in the Preakness.
