HARDINSBURG (04/03/26) — A local “Drug Take Back” Day is scheduled for later in the month. The event is scheduled for April 27th from 10am to 2pm Central time with drop-off locations at the Breckinridge County Sheriff’s Office as well as Irvington and Cloverport Police Departments to dispose of prescription pills as well as over-the- counter and pet medications. No needles, liquids, or syringes will be accepted. Organizers say the disposal is a safe, anonymous, and convenient way to dispose of medications properly, preventing misuse and overdose.
