
A Brandenburg teen is facing multiple charges after a police pursuit between Ekron and Irvington Tuesday (3/31) morning. Around 9:30 ET, a Meade County Sheriff Deputy observed a vehicle recklessly traveling at speeds between 80 to 100 mph along Hayesville Road in which the pursuit began.
The pursuit ended on Norton Road in Irvington. Connur Kerns, 18 of Brandenburg, was arrested on charges of speeding over 26 mph of the speed limit; operating a motor vehicle under the influence, 1st offense, aggravating circumstance; fleeing or evading police, 1st degree; wanton endangerment of a police officer, 1st degree; wanton endangerment, 1st degree; reckless driving, and other motor vehicle charges. Kerns was lodged in the Meade County Detention Center.
The Meade County Sheriff’s office was assisted by Irvington Police and the Breckinridge County Sheriff’s Office.
