BEECH CREEK (03/28/26) — A western Kentucky man is facing charges after a weekend shooting incident in Muhlenberg County. State Police say 62-year-old Harvey Lear of Nortonville is accused of shooting a man from Todd County Saturday night in the Beech Creek community. The victim was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment of a gunshot wound. Lear is charged with assault, wanton endangerment, terroristic threatening, evidence tampering and false report of an incident.
