Breckinridge Circuit Court-Division 1

3/18/2026—Division 1 of Breckinridge Circuit Court with Judge Bruce Butler met Wednesday.

 

David A. Bollinger, 55, pleaded not guilty to fraudulent use of a credit card valued between $1,000 and $10,000; tampering with physical evidence; and theft by unlawful taking.  A pre-trial conference was scheduled for May 20.

 

Jacob W. Logsdon, 41, pleaded not guilty to 1st degree possession of a controlled substance(meth), 2nd offense; failure to register transfer of motor vehicle; and operating a motor vehicle with an expired license.  A pre-trial conference was scheduled for May 20.

 

Shaun A. Carwile, 46, was sentenced to 12 months in prison for 3rd degree possession of an unspecified drug; 90 days for having a controlled substance not in  original container, 1st offense; and 45 days for possession of marijuana.  The sentences will run concurrently for a total of 12 months and were probated for two years.

 

Lilia A. Lucas, 61, pleaded guilty to 1st degree criminal mischief and operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol.  Sentencing was scheduled for April 22.

 

Dakotah A. Goldsmith, 20, was sentenced to 45 days in prison, probated for two years for possession of marijuana.

 

Emmanuel Thomas, 52, pleaded guilty to being a convicted felon in possession of a handgun.  Sentencing was scheduled for April 22.

 

Stephanie D. Vanmatre, 32, was sentenced to three years in prison for 1st degree possession of a controlled substance(meth), 1st offense and three years for 1st degree promoting contraband.  In another case, she was sentenced to three years in prison for 1st degree possession of a controlled substance(meth), 1st offense.  The sentences were diverted for three years.

 

Barton H. Bishop, 51, pleaded guilty to 2nd degree forgery; possession of a forgery device; and 1st degree possession of a controlled substance(meth), 1st offense.   In another case, he pleaded guilty to three counts of 2nd degree criminal possession of a forged instrument. Sentencing was scheduled for April 22.

 

A motion for shock probation by Sara E. Austin-Hill, 36, was taken under submission.

 

Probation was revoked for Steven D. Shelton, 56.
