
HARNED (02/26/26) — The Breckinridge County High School Lady Tiger Basketball team won their third consecutive district title with a 46-31 result over Meade County last night. Elizabeth Grimes and Adelynn Moorman each scored 11 points as the Lady Tigers held Meade to five fourth-quarter points. Grimes, Moorman, Rowan Radaszewski and Josie Mitchum from Breckinridge County were selected to the All-Tournament team, along with Cloverport’s Campbell and Lilah Moore.

UNDATED (02/26/26) — Other girls district finals from across the region Thursday night: Daviess County beat Owensboro Catholic in the 9th District, 48-42…In the 10th, McLean County edged Muhlenberg County, 53-51 and Butler County won the 12th District over Edmonson County, 49-45.
BOWLING GREEN (02/26/26) — Teagan Moore’s 23 points helped Western Kentucky defeat New Mexico State 93-70 on Thursday night at Diddle Arena. Moore added seven rebounds for the Hilltoppers. Grant Newell added 18 points while shooting 5 for 9 from the field.
