OWENSBORO (02/19/26) — Owensboro Police have identified the man arrested in connection to a fatal hit-and-run Wednesday night. Police say 21-year-old Anderson Xol has been charged with murder, assault and leaving the scene of an accident after the incident near the intersection of Frederica Street and Fulton Drive. Two pedestrians were hit by Xol’s vehicle, one died and another was seriously injured. Xol returned to the scene and was taken into custody. The incident is still under investigation.
