HARNED (02//06/26) — A Friday morning fire leveled a house near Harned. Units from Harned, Hardinsburg, Irvington and Custer were called to the area near the intersection of U.S. 60 and Kentucky 1401 just after 9 this morning. According to Kenny Matthingly with the Harned Fire Department, the structure was fully involved when units arrived on scene and was a total loss. One resident was transported by Breck Central EMS to Breckinridge Memorial for treatment. A cause is under investigation by the State Fire Marshall’s office. The Breckinridge County Sheriff’s and Emergency Management Office were among those to respond to the scene Friday morning.
