FRANKFORT (02/05/26) — Governor Andy Beshear reported Thursday that the death toll in Kentucky from last month’s winter storm has risen to 22. Additional fatalities were reported in Grayson and Hardin Counties and a second victim from Hart County. While power restoration is close to full, issues with water service in some parts of the state still linger. The Governor said 12,154 service connections across Kentucky are under a boil water advisory as of Thursday, with thirteen systems having limited operations. Another clipper system is forecast to bring light accumulations to northern and eastern Kentucky on Friday.
