WASHINGTON (02/02/26) — Kentucky U.S. Senator Mitch McConnell has reportedly been hospitalized after experiencing flu-like symptoms over the weekend. Multiple outlets reported that the longtime Kentucky senator checked himself into an area hospital Monday evening. A spokesman for the 83-year-old McConnell said the senator’s prognosis was positive and that remains in communication with his staff and is looking forward to returning to business in the Senate.
