Units Respond To Sunday Fire Reports In Hardinsburg and Irvington

HARDINSBURG (01/18/26) — Units from the Hardinsburg and Harned Fire Departments were called to Elm Street in Hardinsburg just before 4 Sunday afternoon on a report of a vehicle on fire inside a structure. According to Chief Nathan Smith, units arrived, units found heavy smoke showing from the A-side of the structure. The fire was brought under control within minutes, but crews remained on scene for about an hour. No injuries were reported.

IRVINGTON (01/18/26) — Units from three area departments were called to a residence in the 18-hundred block of Highway 79 on a report of a truck on fire near a residential structure Sunday afternoon. Units arrived on scene around 3:15 to find a Ford Ranger fully involved in fire. The fire was extinguished quickly with only minor damage to vinyl siding and no damage to the home. The Webster and Ekron Fire Departments also assisted at the scene.
