HARDINSBURG (01/13/26) — An accident in Hardinsburg Tuesday afternoon resulted in two going to the hospital. According to Adam Lucas with the Hardinsburg Police Department, a Chevy Suburban driven by 48-year old Kari Critchelow of Hardinsburg was stopped into the northbound lane of Highway 259/261 waiting to turn onto Lakeshore Drive when the vehicle was struck from behind by a Dodge Ram pick-up driven by 37-year-old Jeffery King of Hardinsburg. King was transported by Breck Central EMS for treatment of head and facial injuries, while Critchelow was taken by private vehicle to be checked out. The Hardinsburg Fire Department and Breckinridge County Sheriff’s Department also responded to the scene.
