An arraignment was held Monday for a McDaniels man charged in connection to Sunday’s deadly shooting in the parking lot of Lowe’s in Elizabethtown. 21-year-old Brian Harbison pleaded innocent to charges of unlawful transaction with a minor and wanton endangerment. He remains lodged in the Hardin County Detention Center on a 10-thousand dollar bond. Police said Harbison met two 15-year-olds through Snapchat, believing they were 18. As Harbison and one of the teens were sitting in the back seat of his vehicle, a second 15-year-old shot the teenager in the back seat. Katan Atwell died later at Baptist Health Hardin. The 15-year-old has been charged with murder.
