(03/01/17)- The boys 3rd Region High School Basketball tournament begins today at the Owensboro Sports Center. The first game at 6 pits Meade County against Edmonson County, followed by Owensboro Catholic and Ohio County at 7:45. The tournament continues tomorrow (03/02) with Hancock County and Butler County at 6 followed by Muhlenburg County and Daviess County at 7:45.
In girls tournament last night, Apollo defeated Meade County, 51-34 and Muhlenburg County beat Edmonson County, 64-60.
