HARTFORD (12/18/25) — The Ohio County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s assistance in an attempt to locate the vehicle involved in a hit-and-run Thursday afternoon along U.S. 231. A video shows a white pickup truck striking two pedestrians then fleeing the scene. The truck was occupied by two Hispanic males. The driver was described as a Hispanic male, approximately mid thirties to forties, 5’5 and 200 pounds, and bald. The passenger was described as a Hispanic male believed to be in his late teens to early twenties, five-feet-five and 140 pounds The two patients were taken to the hospital for treatment of non life-threatening injuries.
