McConnell: $62 Million Approved For Fort Knox Construction Projects

WASHINGTON (11/13/25) — U.S. Senator Mitch McConnell announced this week that he secured $147 million in federal funding for military construction projects at military facilities in the state. Included is over 62 million dollars for the Fort Knox installation, which cover construction of a vehicle access road, planning and design of two dining facilities and demolition of legacy aircraft hangars on post. The funding is included in the Fiscal Year 2026 Military Construction, Veterans Affairs, and Related Agencies Appropriations Conference Report.
