CANNELTON, In. (09/29/25) — Authorities in Perry County, Indiana are investigating after discovery of bones along the Ohio River near Cannelton. Two fishermen reportedly made the discovery of a skull, lower jaw and a femur back on September 29th. The remains have been taken for study to determine more information. The Indiana State Police and Perry County Coroner’s Office are investigating the incident.
