BRANDENBURG (09/16/25) — A Colorado couple were taken into custody after a baby was found unresponsive in a motel room in Meade County last week. 25-year-old Chance Addison Baldwin of Hudson, Colorado and 23-year-old Felicianna Adrianna Montez of Pueblo are facing manslaughter and abuse charges after the child died. The couple told police they took the child to bed with them and when they awoke, they found the 2-month-old unresponsive. They admitted to drinking the night before. Baldwin and Montez also face other charges related to the endangerment of another child in the room. Baldwin and Montez were lodged in the Meade County Detention Center.
