9/18/2025—The Cloverport Board of Education approved the 2026 Fiscal Year working budget at their regular meeting Thursday evening. The total budget is $30,535,888.86.
In other business, the Board revised a policy dealing with sick leave prior to a Professional Day and the handling of sick leave days when making a job transfer to another district.
The Board approved a policy that provides 30 working days of Parental Leave immediately after birth. This policy also applies to the adoption of a child.
The Board approved a policy revision stating that an individual who resigns may not leave their position until a replacement is hired.
The Board approved the purchase of a Toyota Sienna Van from Frankfort Toyota at a cost of $42,370.00.
The Board approved a Capital Funds request of $298,490.00. The district will purchase 250 Virtual Reality Headsets for career and technical educational courses.
The Board approved a shortened school day for a Kentucky Virtual Academy student.
The total enrollment at Cloverport is 260. The total enrollment at the Kentucky Virtual Academy is 2,342.
