HARDINSBURG (09/03/2025) — Breckinridge County law enforcement agencies will take part in a “DEA Drug Take Back” effort next month: the Breckinridge County Sheriff’s Office will accept unused prescriptions and medicines between 10am and 2pm on October 24th. The goal of the effort is to prevent drug misuse and overdoses. Drop boxes will also be set up at Irvington and Cloverport Police Departments that day for safe disposal of prescriptions, over-the-counter and pet medications. Items not accepted would include liquids and syringes.
