Plane Forced To Land In Field Near Fordsville Tuesday Night; Pilot Not Injured

FORDSVILLE (08/12/25) — Authorities are investigating after a small plane was forced to make an emergency landing in a field off Kentucky Highway 261 near Fordsville Tuesday evening. According to a Fordsville Fire Department post, the plane, identified in the FAA log as a Cessna 150, lost an engine and made a safe controlled landing. The pilot was the lone occupant of the plane; he was not injured.
