Gas prices in West Central Kentucky are six cents lower this week, at $2.793 per gallon, according to AAA East Central’s Gas Price Report.
The average price of self-serve gasoline was noted at $2.79 in Elizabethtown; $2.68 in Owensboro; $2.80 in Bowling Green; $2.74 in Louisville and $2.74 in Paducah. With one month remaining in the summer driving season, the national average for a gallon of regular is up a penny over the past week to $3.15.
