McQUADY (07/15/25) — Emergency crews were called to a report of a commercial vehicle accident in the 800 block of Highway 105 around 11:30 AM Tuesday morning. According to the Breckinridge County Emergency Management Office, a wheel of a bulk truck carrying motor oil dropped off of the shoulder of the roadway causing the truck to cross the road and overturn onto its side in the opposite ditch. The impact punctured one of the cells causing between 500 to 700 gallons of motor oil to spill into the ditch area. The driver suffered minor injuries. The road was closed for about three and a half hours for clean up efforts.
