
CARROLLTON (06/05/25) — Kentucky State Police are investigating an off-duty sheriff’s deputy who fired at two fleeing suspects early Thursday morning in Carroll County. The deputy found a suspicious vehicle parked on private property along Kentucky Highway 55. After a brief interaction, the driver of the vehicle accelerated toward the officer, who shot at the suspect’s vehicle. The vehicle fled from the scene and was later found wrecked in a wooded area. A search later turned up 28-year-old Clinton Meadows, Jr. and 34-year-old Holly Price, both of Indianapolis, who were taken into custody. The Carroll County Sheriff’s Office said both Meadows and Price, who were also found armed with handguns when they were arrested.
