
HARDINSBURG (05/21/25) — Breckinridge County Schools announced Wednesday that Dr. Jeremy Shireman has been named Principal at Hardinsburg Elementary School. Shireman returns to Breckinridge County after previously serving as Assistant Principal at the Middle School between 2013 and 2016.
According to the District, Shireman received his Bachelor’s Degree in mathematics from North Park University and Masters Degree in teaching from Spalding University. He earned his Rank I in Educational Leadership from Oakland City University. He also earned his Doctorate in School Leadership from Oakland City University.
Also part of his 22 years in public education include: Assistant Principal at Charlestown Middle School from 2016 to 2018, Principal at Jonathan Jennings Elementary School from 2018 to 2022, and the Director of Facilities and Project Management for Greater Clark County Schools from 2022 to 2023. Dr. Shireman is currently the Principal at Parkwood Elementary and has served in that role since 2023.
Shireman will officially start begin his role as Hardinsburg Principal on July 1st.
