5/22/2025—Division 2 of Breckinridge Circuit Court with Judge Kenneth H. Goff II met Wednesday.

 

Joshua Kost, 37, pleaded not guilty to 1st degree possession of a controlled substance(meth), 2nd offense/enhanced; convicted felon in possession of a firearm; and possession of marijuana/enhanced.  In another case, Kost pleaded not guilty to 1st degree trafficking in fentanyl, 1st offense.  A pre-trial conference was scheduled for July 23.

 

Britteny L. Hampton, 39, was sentenced to 18 months in prison, probated for three years, for 1st degree possession of a controlled substance(meth), 1st offense.

 

Jackie J. Dewitt, 45, was sentenced to 18 months in prison, probated for five years, for 1st degree possession of a controlled substance(meth), 1st offense and tampering with physical evidence.

 

Albert Armes, 55, was sentenced to two years in prison for theft by failure to make required disposition of property valued between $1,000 and $10,000 and 90 days on each of two counts of theft by unlawful taking or disposition.  The sentences were probated for five years.  In another case, he was sentenced to five years in prison for theft by unlawful taking or disposition of property valued between $1,000 and $10,000 and one year for 3rd degree burglary.  In another case, he was sentenced to 18 months in prison, probated for three years, for 1st degree possession of a controlled substance(meth), 1st offense.  The sentences will run concurrently for a total of five years.

 

A motion for shock probation by Paul Watkins, 51, was taken under submission.

 

Probation was revoked for Tina M. Chapman, 39.
