5/19/2025—Members of the Cloverport City Council received a copy of a partial; draft budget for the 2025/26 Fiscal Year at their regular meeting Monday evening.  The final budget must be adopted by July 1, 2025.

 

In other business, the city will seek bids for tree trimming services.

 

The Council approved a motion to purchase two “one-way” and two “do not enter” signs. They will be placed on Third Street by the school.  The cost is $124.70.

 

An adjuster from the insurance company has inspected roofs at City Hall, River’s Edge Art Gallery, and Riverside Deli.

 

The city has sold 27 city stickers and 28 fishing licenses.

 

The Fire Department made 11 runs in April.

 

Police Officer Robert French has moved to Phase II of the hiring process.

 

Before adjourning, a resident requested city water and trash services for residents who live on the old Sand and Gravel property.
