HARNED (05/19/25) — The 11th District High School Baseball and Softball Tournaments are being held today and tomorrow at Breckinridge County High School. The Lady Tiger Softball team is scheduled to play Hancock County at 5:30 this afternoon with coverage on 104.3, the River. In the baseball tournament, Hancock County plays Meade County at 6 this evening, with the winner to face Breckinridge County in the championship game tomorrow evening.
COLUMBIA (05/17/25) — In the Region 2 Track and Field event moved to Saturday, the Tigers’ Brayden Carman finished 5th in the in the 200 meter dash and 6th in the 100; Hendrick Kobal 8th in the 800-meter run; Zeke McCown 8th in the 1600; Boys; 4-by-800 relay in fifth; Will Mitchum 4th in discus and 8th in shot put; Grant Compton 8th in discus; Lily Perks 7th in the girls 100-meter dash; Josie Hoskins 8th in the 1600 meter run; the girls 4-by-100 relay team finished 2nd; the 4-by-200 finished 3rd; 4-by-400 4th; 4-by-800 3rd; Hadley Priest finished 5th in discus and shot put.
