WEST VIEW (08/28/26) — Fire crews from McDaniels, Harned, Hardinsburg, and Custer were called to the 900 block of Tules Creek Loop just after 11 AM Friday morning on a report of a structure fire.
When crews arrived on the scene they found a single story structure with smoke coming from the structure. Crews worked to rescue several dogs from the building. The fire was extinguished within a half-hour of arrival.
The structure suffered considerable damage.
Meade County RECC also assisted fire crews at the scene with a resident of the structure receiving Red Cross assistance.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
