MUNFORDVILLE (08/30/26) — A Hart County jury has convicted a Barren County woman on two counts of Criminal Abuse 1st Degree (Child Under 12), following a four-day trial.
State Police said the case against 24-year-old Ashley Anderson stemmed from injuries to Anderson’s minor child reported in 2024.
The minor child sustained a broken arm and multiple contact burns, which led to an investigation by the KSP post in Bowling Green.
The jury recommended Anderson serve 10 years in prison on each count, to run concurrently, for a total of 10 years.
Formal sentencing is scheduled for November.
