8/5/2026—Division 1 of Breckinridge Circuit Court with Judge Bruce Butler met Wednesday.

 

Shauna Brown, 40, was sentenced to one year in prison for 1st degree possession of a controlled substance(meth), 1st offense and one year for 1st degree possession of an unknown drug.  The sentences will run consecutively for two years and diverted for three years.

 

Ashton L. Burton, 25, was sentenced to 12 months in prison for 2nd degree criminal mischief; 30 days for operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol; 90 days on each of five counts of menacing.  The sentences will run concurrently.

 

Daniel Coogle, 33, pleaded guilty to 1st degree fleeing/evading police; 2nd degree fleeing/evading police; operating a motor vehicle under the influence of a controlled substance; two counts of 1st degree wanton endangerment/police officer; 1st degree criminal mischief; and failure of owner to maintain required insurance, 1st offense.  Sentencing was scheduled for September 2.

 

Cameron B. Whorley, 49, pleaded guilty to 2nd degree fleeing/evading police and failure of non-owner to maintain required insurance, 1st offense.  Sentencing was scheduled for September 2.

 

Jeremy W. McManaway, 48, was sentenced to three years in prison, diverted for five years, for 2nd degree strangulation/domestic violence.

 

William T. Dowell, 44, pleaded guilty to 1st degree unlawful imprisonment and 2nd degree assault.  In another case, he pleaded guilty to flagrant non-support.  In another case he pleaded guilty to two counts of being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm and 1st degree possession of a controlled substance(meth), 1st offense.  Sentencing was scheduled for September 16.

 

Anthony T. Warf, 38, was sentenced to 12 years in prison on each of ten counts of distributing matter portraying sexual performance by a minor under twelve.  The sentences will run consecutively for a total of  12 years.

 

Probation was revoked for Joshua C. Shofner, 42.
