TeraWulf Inc. announced Monday it has signed a long-term lease with AI company Anthropic at its Justified Data campus, the former Century Aluminum location in Hawesville, a deal the company says is expected to generate about $19 billion in contracted revenue over the initial term.

TeraWulf said the 20-year agreement is for a “purpose-built” AI infrastructure campus designed to support advanced computing. The company said the Hawesville site is planned to accommodate about 401 megawatts of critical IT load and will be developed in phases, with initial capacity expected to come online in the second half of 2027 and full capacity reached by early 2028.

TeraWulf is based in Easton, Maryland, and describes itself as a developer and operator of large-scale digital infrastructure for AI and high-performance computing workloads.
