CUB RUN (05/31/26) — Kentucky State Police are investigating the death of a woman near Nolin Lake over the weekend. Troopers received a call about a possible death at the Dog Creek Recreation area on Sunday. They later found an unconscious female, later identified as 43-year-old Edith Vaughn of Cub Run, lying in a tent. The Hart County Coroner responded and pronounced Vaughn dead at the scene.
