CARROLLTON (05/31/26) — A child is dead, and two others were seriously injured after a car crashed into a horse and buggy in Carroll County on Sunday, State Police Said a car driven by 44-year-old Daniel Crawford of Carrollton rear-ended a horse and buggy carrying three juveniles. All three juveniles were taken to Norton Children’s Hospital in Louisville with life-threatening injuries, with one of juveniles later succumbing to their injuries. The accident remains under investigation.
