VINE GROVE (05/21/26) — Kentucky State Police have arrested a Hardin County man on charges related to child sexual abuse material. 25-year-old Nicholas Ray Renfo was arrested Thursday on charges of possession and distribution of matter portraying a minor under 12 years in a sexual performance following an investigation discovering the suspect sharing images online. Equipment used to facilitate the alleged crime was seized at a residence in Vine Grove and taken into custody for examination. Renfro was lodged in the Hardin County Detention Center following his arrest as an investigation continues by the Electronic Crime Branch.
