FALLS OF ROUGH (05/05/26) — Emergency personnel from Breckinridge and Grayson Counties responded to an accident Tuesday along Kentucky Highway 110 near Falls of Rough involving a tanker truck.
According to the Breckinridge County Emergency Management Office, a 6-axle tanker truck, carrying gasoline and off-road diesel, overcorrected on a sharp turn and left the roadway and struck a rock embankment; rupturing the diesel compartment just before Noon Tuesday.
Crews worked to seal the rupture and mitigate any fuel runoff. The road was closed in the vicinity of the 2000 block for cleanup and mitigation.
