HENDERSON (04/24/26) — A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans to begin an asphalt resurfacing project on U.S. 60 in Hancock County today. The project will apply a new surface to both westbound lanes between Nugent Lane and Yellow Creek Bridge, including most of westbound 60 from Hawesville to Lewisport. Work is scheduled daily from 6am to 5pm, weather permitting. Paving is anticipated to be completed within approximately seven days.
