Wilma Jean Simmons, age 89, of Ekron, died Saturday (4/25) at Baptist Health Hardin in Elizabethtown. She is survived by her husband: Jack Simmons; and her sister: Louise Wardrip of West Point. Funeral services will be held at 1 PM ET Wednesday (4/29) at Big Spring Baptist Church with burial will follow in Buck Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6 until 8 PM ET Tuesday (4/28) at the Hager Funeral Home in Brandenburg and after 12 PM ET Wednesday (4/29) at the church. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Cooperative Program of the Southern Baptist Convention or through any of the Southern Baptist member churches.
