LEITCHFIELD (04/14/26) — A ribbon-cutting Tuesday marked the ceremonial opening of the Leitchfield Addiction Recovery Center. The facility opened in January and has capacity for 32 men and 32 women who are seeking recovery from drug and alcohol addictions, with priority to Grayson County residents. The facility incorporates a “Recovery Kentucky” model, a peer-driven addiction recovery model, utilizing the twelve steps of Alcoholics Anonymous format. The Leitchfield facility is the 18th created under the Recovery Kentucky model.
