CUSTER (04/07/26) — The Custer Fire Department is alerting residents to a potential scam. According to their social media post, an individual claiming to be with the fire department is attempting to solicit money by telephone. The department will never solicit money or request personal information via telephone. Should you receive a similar call, please do not engage and promptly report it to the Breckinridge County Sheriff’s Office.
