Pursuit Suspect Arrested On I-64 In Southern Indiana

DALE, In. (04/01/26) — An Indiana man was arrested after a police pursuit along Interstate 64.

Authorities in Spencer County, Indiana received a call late Wednesday night about someone stealing lawnmowers in the Dale community.

The suspect was located in Crawford County, but 36-year-old Corey Tomlinson fled from police into Harrison County, where stop sticks halted the vehicle west of Corydon.

Tomlinson was returned to Spencer County where he was lodged on multiple charges. He was also listed on felony warrants out of Oldham County.

Police said a Harrison County sheriff’s deputy was injured during the pursuit and was taken to a local hospital for injuries to his hand.
