
Emergency crews were called to a report of a single vehicle accident around 12:30 PM Tuesday (3/31) afternoon in the 4300 of South Highway 105.
According to the Breckinridge County Sheriff’s Office, a 2025 International box truck driven by Joshua Betar of Madisonville was traveling north on Highway 105 when the wheel of the truck went off of shoulder of the road causing the truck to turn over onto its side and skidded across the roadway to rest in the southbound lane and ditch. The truck carrying alcoholic drinks and some of the contents were spilled into the ditch line.
Betar was not injured. The roadway was closed for a short time to upright the truck. Crews were on the scene until the contents were properly cleaned up. The Hardinsburg and McDaniels Fire Departments, Breckinridge County Emergency Management assisted the Breckinridge County Sheriff’s Office.
