Kentucky State Police arrested a Hancock County man on child exploitation charges. Carl Wayne Warner, 34, of Hawesville, was arrested on charges related to child sexual abuse material as a result of an undercover Internet Crimes Against Children investigation after discovering Warner had shared images of child sexual exploitation online.
A search warrant was executed Tuesday (3/24) at Warner’s home where equipment used in the crime was seized and taken to the state police forensic crime lab as part of the investigation. Warner is currently charged with ten counts of distribution of matter portraying a minor in a sexual performance under 12 years old and ten counts of possession of matter portraying a minor in a sexual performance under 12 years old.
Warner was lodged in the Breckinridge County Detention Center.
