WASHINGTON (03/09/26) — The Pentagon announced Monday morning that a soldier from Kentucky died while supporting Operation Epic Fury in Iran. Sergeant Benjamin Pennington of Glendale, died Sunday from injuries sustained on a March 1st attack at the Prince Sultan Air Base. The 26-year-old Pennington was assigned to the U.S. Army’s 1st Space Battalion, 1st Space Brigade at Fort Carson, Colorado.
